Greg joined Crux Wealth Advisors in 2020 as a Financial Advisor. Throughout his career as an advisor, Greg has maintained the philosophy that providing exceptional service to his clients is paramount. He understands that a great client experience extends beyond being responsive and attentive. It comes in the form of being proactive with ideas and personalized strategies and consistently monitoring any changes in his client’s lives, requiring the ability to adapt accordingly.
The strong relationships that Greg has built with his clients allow him to consistently deliver on his promise to serve his clients and work collaboratively with them toward their goals. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, along with his extensive industry experience, Greg has an elevated vantage point of a highly complex industry. Greg began in the financial industry in 1992 and has worked with three different broker dealers, each transition aimed at providing his clients with a better service experience. He first began his career with PrimeVest Financial Services, then he moved to Cambridge Investment Research and, most recently, Raymond James. Greg earned his Economics and Business Administration degree from Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa, and his MBA from the University of Phoenix.

I learned that Gene Smith, Athletic Director for The Ohio State University, asks for the top four values of those candidates he’s interviewing. After hearing this, it made me reflect on my values. I narrowed down my own to a solid five that I feel define me both professionally and personally: faith, family, loyalty, passion, and fun. These values have been a theme throughout my life from how my wonderful wife, Trish, and I have raised our son, Matt, to how I enjoy being involved in the community.
One way that I enjoy giving back to our community is through my participation on the Yellow Jacket Committee for the Fiesta Bowl. Our mission is to enhance organizations that contribute to their communities’ success through youth, sports, and education. It’s an incredibly fulfilling organization to be part of, and we are proud to have given away $4 million in the last year.
In addition to being part of an organization that supports positivity through sports, I also love watching football every chance I get. In no particular order, some of my favorites are the Hawkeyes (especially since I’m originally from Iowa), the Devils, and the Cardinals.
