Alexis joined the Crux Wealth Advisors team at our Denver, CO office in 2021. As a Financial Advisor, the planning process excites her, and it’s where she thrives working with her clients. She is an excellent communicator and can bridge complex information about where her clients are and where they want to go.
From establishing relationships by listening carefully to each client’s story and their concerns and goals to crafting a customized plan and continually reassessing and adjusting strategies as needed, Alexis enjoys the process that her role requires. These strategies and reassessments include tax management, social security planning, and investment selection, among other areas.
Alexis understands the many priorities in each of her client’s lives and how financial planning can be overwhelming. However, she is committed to sharing her knowledge with clients in a clear and relatable way. Alexis’ clients appreciate her ability to explain and simplify sophisticated investment strategies. She enjoys teaching the importance of planning and creating balance by helping others attain their financial goals.
Alexis finds that one of the most rewarding aspects of her role, other than congratulating her clients when they have reached their next milestone, is creating a monthly income that replaces their paychecks when they retire while still growing their retirement accounts to offset inflation. Her approach is analytical, compassionate, and resourceful while also remaining grounded and realistic. She makes it clear that it’s impossible to save every discretionary dollar because the client/advisor partnership she develops means setting realistic and achievable goals.
I was born and raised in Upstate New York in a small town called Schenevus, which is about an hour west of Albany and three hours north of New York City. My husband, Scott, and I have lived in Denver for the last 20 years, but we are ready for a new adventure to the suburbs in Littleton, CO.
Scott and I are so proud of our three children, Bryan (married to Erika), Maya, and Dylan. Bryan and Erika welcomed their first child, Hayden, in early 2021, and we are so thrilled to be grandparents!
In my free time, I enjoy reading, and we love to take advantage of living in Colorado and all of the beauty that our state offers, especially activities with my family. We love to camp, ski, bike, hike, run, raft, paddleboard, and go horseback riding.
I am also fortunate to partner with several charities that significantly impact our community through volunteer opportunities and contributions. These include the Denver Rescue Mission, Global Partners, The Gathering Place, the Down Syndrome Foundation, the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, and Brightstart.
I am so blessed to have an incredible family and clients, along with their families. My daily motto is: Be the change you want to see in the world, and I hope that I can positively impact both my family’s life and my client’s.
