Financial Advisor

Dane joined Crux Wealth Advisors as a Financial Advisor in 2020 and works primarily out of our Torrance office. His background, which includes being a Certified Paralegal, has equipped him with a unique perspective to provide a higher level of service to our clients. Before joining our team, Dane held a similar role with Waddell & Reed for 11 years.

Dane was drawn to the industry because of his genuine enjoyment for helping others, along with the satisfaction that comes from the services we offer that help our clients successfully achieve their financial goals. He sees these relationships as meaningful partnerships, and his commitment is apparent based on the care he has with each client engagement. In addition to working with clients, Dane also focuses on marketing efforts, client development, and research.

Dane values continuous education and stays connected in the community through professional organizations. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Loyola Marymount University in 2001. He went back to school to earn an Associate’s Degree and Certificate of Competence in Paralegal Studies from El Camino College in 2006 and a Certification in Personal Financial Planning from UCLA in 2009. Dane is an active member in Lambda Epsilon Chi, the National Honor Society for Paralegal/Legal Assistant Studies, he serves as the Director of Legal Affairs for the Alex & Duke DeRego Foundation, and he is also the Legislative Chair for the California Association of Legal Document Assistants.

I am originally from Kamuela, Hawaii. As much as I loved Hawaii, California has always felt like home. My wife, Francesca and I have made an excellent home for us here in California. We have two beautiful children, Juliana and Edward, and they keep us on our toes.

My family means the world to me, so when I’m not in the office, you can usually find me spending time with my family. We enjoy just being at home and equally love to keep active with trips to the beach, attending sporting activities, and traveling whenever we have the chance. I consider myself very lucky because I have an incredibly supportive family, as well as a career that I enjoy and find fulfilling.
