Wealth Advisor

A trusted advisor is essential to provide the necessary guidance and continued support in a complex industry that some may view as convoluted and overwhelming. Ryan’s approach to the financial planning process avoids an intimidating experience and instead leads our clients to a defined and individualized experience. As a lifelong learner and passionate financial educator, his primary goal is to expand his clients’ financial horizons with integrity.

In 2005, Ryan joined Ameriprise Financial, LLC and later created the Vibrant Wealth Management team in 2016 with fellow Financial Advisor, Nicole May. As a team, they built a robust and collaborative environment that focused on each team member’s strengths to benefit their clients, and in 2021, both Ryan and Nicole joined Crux Wealth Advisors at our Denver, CO office.

Ryan’s days vary from coaching clients and families through financial decision-making to following a seasonal approach to financial planning and goal setting through investment strategy and tax and risk mitigation strategy. Ryan and the team focus on bringing clients and their families closer to the financial future that they envision through long-term strategic planning. His enthusiasm and passion comes from his parents, both of whom are teachers. Their guidance has always been to educate and improve the community, which is his underlying motivation for financial services and why he feels he has had countless rewarding experiences throughout his career when advising his clients and helping them reach their goals.

Ryan earned a Business Administration degree from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania. He has also earned the professional designations of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFPÒ), Accredited Portfolio Management Advisor (APMAÒ), and Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPCÒ).

Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and federally registered in the U.S., which it awards to individuals who successfully complete CFP Board’s initial and ongoing certification requirements.

I grew up outside Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Although I’m no longer close geographically to where I grew up, my wife, Amanda, and I have built a wonderful life together in an area that we genuinely love. We now live near the world-famous Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO, and are so fortunate to raise our daughters, Teagan Leigh (2015) and Maren Rae (2018), in this stunning part of the country.

I believe that everyone needs three key pillars to be happy in life: family, community, and purpose, and both Amanda and I make our family our utmost priority. I enjoy the time outside of my career with my family to focus on raising well-adjusted, strong, and independent daughters with Amanda. Our weekends center around family fun, and we always appreciate getting out of the house to enjoy the wide-open spaces. Colorado is the perfect place to take part in endless outdoor activities year-round.

I am passionate about giving back to my community as well, and I’m a proud board member of the Ray of Hope Colorado Cancer Foundation. It’s truly an honor to be part of an organization that is providing support so that no Coloradan goes through cancer alone.
