Julia has been a Financial Planning Consultant since 2017 and joins Crux as part of its first Chicago office. Julia is a critical team member with a dedication to excellence, a commitment to building lasting and meaningful relationships, and proven integrity with a strong work ethic. She works alongside our partners in the daily support of and holistic guidance for our clients. Julia ensures strategies remain on target, is a resource for questions and other inquiries, and researches and implements enhanced efficiency solutions. She is also committed to her professional development and keeps up-to-date on the latest in the industry to consistently provide relevant and sound guidance to clients.
I have lived in the Chicagoland area my entire life, and feel blessed to have met the love of my life here as well. My husband, Abdiel, and I were married in 2016, and we welcomed our son, Gabriel, in 2018… and we’re excited to meet our second son in 2021!
I come from a musical family and hope to pass that legacy along to my children. My mom was a pianist with the Chicago Symphony, and my dad was a professional opera singer. Their talents instilled a love of music in me, and I went on to study performance in college and have been ‘gigging’ professionally since I was 15.
Abdiel and I make our family a priority, and love traveling, particularly internationally, whenever we have the opportunity. Abdiel and I are actively involved with our church, The Orchard Evangelical Free Church, where I’ve had the opportunity to serve as a Worship Leader, which is one of the great joys of my life. We’ve also been privileged to serve at retreats, conferences, and other events both here in the US and internationally. I’m also always trying to learn more Spanish so I can communicate better with my in-laws!
