I was born in Dallas Texas, grew up nearby in Garland. I moved to Colorado in 1981 when I was recruited to coach the women’s gymnastics team at the University of Denver. In 1982, we were fortunate to win the AIAW Division II National Gymnastics Championship.
My husband, Kirk, and I love the Denver areas and enjoy keeping active in the community. I like to play golf, tennis, ski and practice Pilates. I am also an avid fan of the University of Texas Longhorns. As a former Texas cheerleader, I participate in the University of Texas Cheerleader reunions every two years. This event allows former cheerleaders from the 1940’s to the present to assemble, cheer in uniform on
the sidelines, and support the cheerleader scholarship program through the Texas Ex Alumni Association. I am also a volunteer board member with the Alpha Chi Omega fraternity at the University of Colorado, Boulder, and a member of the Hope Methodist Church.
